Ano: Journeys Through Tattoos was created in 3 months as a final year project.

Description

An AR-equipped mobile game inspired by the Sarawakian Kayan’s traditional hand-tapped tattooing culture. The game is a 2D platformer meant to showcase the beauty in the respective tattooing culture. The AR feature enables players to see the tattoo design on their own arms as rewards after they complete each level.

You play as a young Kayan (Kayan - one of the many ethnic tribes in Sarawak) girl named Do’, who goes about doing quests to earn her tattoos from her grandma, who is her tattoo artist. Throughout her journey, she will learn why getting her tattoos is crucial for her safety.
